The Manic Street Preachers have been talking to Radio X about their next album, which is due out next year.
Despite having only released album Rewind the Film in September the band recently confirmed they would be putting out another record - entitled Futurology - in 2014.
Speaking to Radio X, Nicky Wire admitted it is going to have a more electronic feel to it than the largely stripped back current album.
"It's post, it's punk, it's disco, it's rock. It's post punk disco rock," he said. "There's my tagline right there"
"Sounds like a Talking Heads song," he joked.
The band are going on tour in Spring 2014, where they will be previewing some of the new material.
