The Maccabees Announce Split After 14 Years Together

The Marks To Prove It five-piece have confirmed there will be "farewell celebration shows" in the near future.
The Maccabees have announced their split after 14 years together.
The band took to social media to announce that they'd be parting ways, but will "not be leaving the group behind as a divided force".

The Marks To Prove It five-piece also confirmed they will continue making music and there will be "farewell celebrations" announced in the near future.
The band - made up of Orlando Weeks, Hugo White, Felix White, Rupert Jarvis and Sam Doyle have released four albums in total since forming in 2002.
Their 2015 Marks To Prove It LP was both critically gave the band their first UK No.1 album, following Colour It In (2007) Wall Of Arms (2009) and Given To The Wild (2012).
The band recently played their biggest headline festival show to date at Latitude festival this July, also treating Radio X fans to an intimate warm-up gig just days before at our intimate studios.
