The thief arrested at the band's Birmingham gig this Wednesday.
A man was arrested at a Libertines gig on Wednesday (27 January) after being suspected for stealing phones, say West Midlands police.
According to The Guardian, a man aged 30 was arrested along with a male accomplice of a similar age, after they were spotted with their trousers taped to their legs.
Police have since appealed to any Libertines fans who attended the gig at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena, to "get in touch" if they think their phone was taken on the night.
Inspector Gareth Morris, said: “It’s an unfortunate reality that large crowds at concerts such as this make rich pickings for career criminals.
"We’re hot on the heels of these offenders but you can also reduce your chances of falling victim to such crimes by remaining extra vigilant when attending busy events.
“If you think you had your phone taken, please get in touch with us and we can check whether or not we have been able to recover it.”
