The Cure have also donated items for an auction in aid of Martin House Children's Hospice as part of the build up to the festivals...

The charity is based near Wetherby, Leeds and it is hoped the auction could become an annual event.

Headliners The Cure, Foo Fighters and Kasabian have all donated things to the inaugural auction - as have the likes of Florence & The Machine, The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs, Paramore, Two Door Cinema Club, Enter Shikari, You Me At Six.

"We salute the people of Martin House, and contributing something to help them raise some funds is of course something we didn?t hesitate about, we commend them on all their great work and dedication over the years, make sure you bid for a bit of Reading and Leeds history..." Kasabian commented.

Signed items such as set lists, clothes and instruments will be displayed at a respected Leeds venue post-festival and then auctioned via the charity's official site on eBay.

Some items will be placed into a raffle draw as well so more people can get involved.
