Peter Hook and New Order

The former New Order and Joy Division bassist will play the show at a church in Macclesfield.

Peter Hook will play the entire Joy Division back-catalogue for a special one off show at Christ Church, Macclesfield in May. The gig is to celebrate the life and work of Ian Curtis and will take place exactly thirty five years after his death.

Hooky will perform the show with his new The Light. They'll play all the tracks in chronological order, including both albums (Closer & Unknown Pleasures) and b-sides and rarities.

The event will be called So This Is Penance and all proceeds are to be donated to The Epilepsy Society.

The gig takes place on May 18th and tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 25th) at 9am.
