The Kickabout with Johnny Vaughan 11am - 1pm
Johnny Marr has said he still has the urge to work with others despite going solo.
The former Smiths man - who has also been Modest Mouse and The Cribs - says he uses support acts to sooth his cravings for collaboration.
"I get so involved in whatever I'm doing and it would take away from the intensity of the solo stuff. I do invite people on my tour with me, so that takes care of the collaborative urge I have," he told NME.
"Justin from The Vaccines played at the NME Awards, so I'd like him and Freddie to do something, Jordan from Howler, too. And I've been hanging out with Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs a lot lately, I love his guitar playing so I'd like to do something with him."
He also admitted to NME that he has been asked to do a few soundtracks but is just waiting for the right one to come up.
Johnny recently came into the Radio X studios to play an intimate Radio X Presents with Ford SYNC sesssion - listen again
