The former Smiths guitarist accompanied them for a performance of Last Time I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me and The Fall's Totally Wired.

The Last Shadow Puppets were joined on stage by Johnny Marr for their opening track at Manchester's Castlefield Arena last night (Sunday 10 July).

The legendary Smiths guitarist joined Alex Turner and Miles Kane for their cover of Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me, from The Smiths 1987 album, Strangeways, Here We Come.

The duo went on to play a 18-track set, with Jonny Marr taking to the stage again during their encore for a rendition of The Fall's Totally Wired.
