The band's guitarist Richard Fortus says they've compiled enough recorded tracks for at least two new records - but added he has no idea what Axl Rose wants to do with the music.

When it comes to Guns 'n' Roses, Axl Rose is clearly boss - which might explain why the rest of the band have no idea what's happened to a bunch of music they've recorded.

In an interview with a French magazine, guitarist Richard Fortus explained the band have already recorded more than enough tracks to fill a double album.

"We’ve all been handing files back and forth to one another. We so look forward to getting at it seriously...[with] a new album as soon as possible," said Fortus.

But Dizzy Reed, who plays keyboard for the band, admitted nobody except Axl knew when the band would unleash its new music. "We just don’t know yet," he said. "Only Axl knows and he’s very secretive."

It took 15 years for Chinese Democracy to be made and it's only seven years since that came out, so based on that, we could be waiting some while yet for new GnR material.
