Foo Fighters play secret show in New Orleans

The band took to the stage at Preservation Hall, where they've been recording a track for their forthcoming album.

According to Consequence Of Sound, the Foos have been recording in different cities around the US, occasionally playing secret shows as they go.

The show, which reportedly had Arcade Fire's Win Butler in the audience, shut down an entire city block. Playing for ninety minutes, Grohl and co's set was stuffed full classic hits, including Learn To Fly, My Hero, Monkey Wrench and These Days. See footage of the gig below.

Their eighth studio album is as of yet untitled. Speaking to Radio X, Taylor Hawkins said he expected the Foos to "return to the UK in 2014."
