Here's five theories we've got so far:

1. It's another Sonic Highways documentary series.

Fans have likened the crest on the page to the Route 66 sign, which could mean a second helping of their Emmy Award-winning Sonic Highways series, or more dates added onto their existing tou..

2. It's a road trip-based tour.

Could it simply mean the band are on the road again, or that they'll be going to 66 locations?

3. It's got something to with hotels.

The Foo Fighters official page is redirects to and if you listen to the audio it sounds just like a busy desk or hotel lobby. Could this mean the band are hitting some of the most famous hotels in the world, or better still, are they making like the Beatles and building their own?

4. It's the date Dave Grohl gets his cast removed.

Not that he's been any less of a legend with it on.

5. It's the date Dave Grohl announces he's running for presidency.

Well, it sure beats Kanye West...
