Foo Fighters 2015

The Everlong rockers have added the Iceland festival to their digital passport.

The Foo Fighters have confirmed yet another festival date for 2017.

Dave Grohl and co. are set to play Iceland's Secret Solstice Festival, which takes place in Reykjavík from 16-18 June.

Joining the Learn To Fly outfit at the midnight sun music festival are the likes of The Prodigy and Richard Ashcroft.

Secret Solstice joins a long line of festival dates for the band, who have also confirmed headline slots at Portugal's NOS Alive, Poland's Open',er, Spain's MadCool, Denmark's Roskilde, Denmark's Rock Werhtcher and Finland's Rock The Beach Festival.

The dates still allow a slot for Glastonbury Festival 2016, which will take place on 21-25 June 2017.

However, after being asked by NME if they were already booked for the festival, drummer Taylor Hawkins explained why he'd be the last to know.

“Not yet man but I’m always the last to know." Hawkins teased. "I have a big mouth so they don’t tell me anything. That’s a rule in Foo Fighters; ‘don’t tell Taylor, he’ll tell everybody’."

Find out why we think the band are almost certain to headline the Somerset festival here.
