Dave Grohl tells Radio X's Danielle Perry how it's a "shame" that the Manchester band aren't together any more.
Speaking to Radio X's Danielle Perry about the band's new album, Sonic Highways, Dave Grohl explained how he was a big fan of the Gallaghers… and that they should reconsider their split.
"The whole Oasis thing is a shame," he told Danielle. "We all love Oasis. We’ve played shows with them before, where I look at them and think 'That's the greatest rock band I've ever seen in my life'.
"To know that they’re out there somewhere but they won't come together to do the thing that everybody would love so much..."
Grohl went on: "They're fun. They have such a crazy reputation of being 'the Oasis guys', and then you see them at the bar and they show you pictures of their kids. And you’re like 'Wow, they're just normal dudes', y’know?"
Noel Gallagher recently announced his second album with his High Flying Birds, Chasing Yesterday, while last month Liam's Beady Eye revealed that they'd split up.
