Dave Grohl: Emily Eavis should give us a call about Glastonbury!
The Foo FIghters man has revealed he's interested in headlining Glastonbury, and Emily seems pretty keen as well.
In a report in this week's NME, Dave Grohl has spoken out about the heavy rumour that Foo Fighters will play Glastonbury Festival in 2015. "I mean, it's an iconic festival...I just tell everyone if they need a band, we're pretty good. They should give us a call. See what happens."
After NME chased her for a reply, Emily Eavis said "We'd love to have the Foo Fighters back at Glastonbury and they haven't played since 1998 so its well overdue! We'll have to see…"
Foo Fighters and AC/DC are currently the bookies' favourite to headline the Somerset festival. Michael Eavis recently revealed that, although Fleetwood mac and Queen would NOT be playing, he'd love to get Oasis on the bill.
Foo Fighters' eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, comes out on Monday.
