A representative of the band has told Entertainment Weekly that split claims are "utterly ridiculous".
Foo Fighters have sparked rumours of a split, after taking to Twitter to tease an "official band announcement".

The rumours were first sparked by a report in the New York's Post's Page Six this week, suggesting that the band could be set to break up, due to "tensions" between frontman Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins.
However, a band rep has since denied the reports, telling Entertainment Weekly that they are "utterly ridiculous".
Speaking to the website last year, Grohl said: "We’re not breaking up anytime soon, that would be like your grandparents getting a divorce.
While a split has been vehemently denied, nothing has been refuted about the possibilities of the band taking an official hiatus, or their chances of their frontman releasing a solo album.
Grohl has made several solo appearances recently, most recently performing The Beatles' Blackbird at Sunday night's (28 February) In Memoriam Oscars tribute.
The notoriously busy band ended their 20th anniversary world tour last year, including a gig at Italian town Cesena, following a viral video created by the Rockin' 100.
The band's last surprise saw them release the free Saint Cecilia EP, which they dedicated to the victims of the Paris terror attacks.
