Elbow unveil new song: Fly Boy Blue/Lunette

Elbow have unveiled the first taste of new album The Take Off & Landing Of Everything: track Fly Boy Blue / Lunette.

Radio X's John Kennedy had the first play of the song, which fans will get to download as soon as they pre-order the record. Pre-ordering began just after midnight.

Elbow have also released a film to accompany Fly Boy Blue / Lunette, which was filmed during the year-long recording process for the album. The short was directed by long term visual collaborators The Soup Collective.

The Take Off & Landing of Everything is out 10 March and was recorded at the band’s Blueprint Studios in Salford as well as at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Wiltshire.

It was produced by keyboard player Craig Potter, who also helmed their multi-platinum fourth album, The Seldom Seen Kid, and platinum follow-up Build A Rocket Boys!

The first single has yet to be unveiled.

Elbow are on tour in the UK this spring including a gig at Manchester Arena on 9 April and London's O2 Arena on 16 April.
