Editors have announced they will celebrate the release of new album The Weight Of Your Love with a launch show at London's Village Underground.
The gig will take place on the same day as the record is released: July 1.
Their fourth studio album was recorded live and frontman Tom recently told Radio X's Danielle Perry he is pleased they decided to make a rock album.
"When making this record we definitely didn't want to do the same thing again. We definitely wanted to pick the guitars back up and be a band in a room," he explained on the Radio X Evening Show.
"There's an element to this record that is a lot more straightforward than what we've done before."
Editors' last two albums - 2007's An End Has A Start and 2009's In This Light And On This Evening both reached number one in the album chart.
Tom told us he hopes that The Weight of Your Love can give the charts a new lease of life.
"Every now and again I look at the top ten and I don't see many acts there that I feel we have anything in common with. I don't see many acts there that I'd like to listen to - and that's cool, I don't want to be one of those guys in bands who moans about the state of the chart," he explained.
"Things change, I don't care about that but things have changed a lot since we came out. So when I look at the landscape things have changed and it does confuse me a little bit but when I listen to our record it makes total sense.
"I hope people can hear that we've gone for the throat."
The record was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville with producer Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Of Monsters And Men, Kings Of Leon) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, The Horrors, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver).
It's the first album to feature new members Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams following the departure of founding member Chris Urbanowicz in 2012.
Editors are appearing at 25 festivals across Europe this summer including Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading and Leeds.
