David Bowie’s son announces he’s going to be a dad

One month after the death of David Bowie, his son has revealed the news that he’s about to become a father himself.
Duncan Jones tweeted the following image last night (Wednesday 10 February):
1 month since dad died today. Made this card for him at Christmas. Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, granddad. pic.twitter.com/sf7SEUtm64

The 44-year-old film director, who is married to photographer Rodene Ronquillo, wrote: “Made this card for him at Christmas. Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, granddad.”
Bowie Snr died on 10 January after an 18-month long battle with cancer, just two days after his 69th birthday.
He had two children - Duncan aka Zowie, born in 1971 when Bowie was married to Angie Barnett and Lexi, born in 2000 during Bowie’s marriage to supermodel Iman. The new arrival will be Bowie’s first grandchild.
