David Bowie 2015

Pixies, Blondie, Mumford & Sons and Toni Visconti are set for the tribute concert at Radio City Music Hall.

A David Bowie tribute concert is set to be streamed live in return for charitable donations.

The Music Of David Bowie will see the likes of Toni Visconti, Pixies, Blondie and Mumford & Sons perform a set of classic Bowie songs at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Friday 1 April.

Now, due to popular demand to see the tribute concert, Radio City have teamed up with Skype and ammado to stream the concert globally "in return for a small donation".

A statement on their official event page explains: "Scheduled April 1st at Radio City Music Hall, “The Music of David Bowie” is a tribute to the legend of David Bowie who passed away in January this year. The event features up to 18 artists, listed below, with a set-list devoted to classic Bowie songs.

"Due to unprecedented interest in the David Bowie memorial concert in Radio City, we have teamed up with Skype and ammado to stream the concert around the world, in return for a small donation to our charity partners (see below). We suggest a minimum donation equivalent to $20 or £15."
