The Cure Add Third Wembley Date To Tour

Robert Smith and co have revealed that they will play shows in London and Manchester in Autumn 2016.

The Cure have added a new date to the UK leg of their 2016 tour. 

The Inbetween Days band announced in November that they'd be playing 30 shows in 17 European countries next Autumn, marking their first major tour of the continent since 2008. 

Now the band have revealed they're set for a third date at London's Wembley Arena on Saturday 3 December, following their dates in London's capital city on the Thursday and Friday.  

Their last UK shows were last Christmas, with three dates at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.

The veteran alternative rock legends have also announced a major tour of North America in May and June.

The band have promised that they will perform “37 years of Cure songs, mixing hits, rarities, favourites and as yet unreleased tracks in a brand new stage production.”

Support on all dates will come from The Twilight Sad, whose track There's A Girl In The Corner was recently covered by Robert Smith.
