Following the success of A Headful Of Dreams, Chris Martin promises new tracks for next year.
Despite rumours of their latest album being their last, it seems that Coldplay have continued to record.
Tweeting today (21 November), Chris Martin confirmed that a EP of new material would be released in 2017.
“Hello everyone,” tweeted the impeccably-mannered Martin, “We’re working on some new songs for next year. It's called the Kaleidoscope EP.”

A Headful Of Dreams was released almost a year ago in December 2015 and was initially pegged by Chris as being “like the last Harry Potter book or something.”
He told the BBC in 2014: ““Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something.”
So it appears everyone got the wrong end of the stick, then…
The band are due to play some massive shows next summer, including two nights at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 11 and 12 July.
