Catfish And The Bottlemen

Catfish And The Bottlemen are one of the hottest bands of 2013 and we are chuffed to bits to be able to bring you the world debut of their new video right here on Radio X.co.uk.

Depicting the life in downtown "Spermingham", the witty video accompanies a great track, which, according to frontman Van McCann, is about how smalltown jealousies ended a relationship. “I wrote Rango about my first girlfriend just after we split up," he says. "It’s about how our shitty small town wore us out together a bit- everyone knowing our business, and wanting to be involved in it a bit more than we did."

The band recently signed to Communion Records, after a busy 18 months during which they played over 100 shows in the UK and further afield. They have just enjoyed a summer of festival action, including dates at Reading and Leeds, Wakestock, Latitude and Rock For People in the Czech Republic. Radio X's very own John Kennedy says they're "stadium ready".
