Chatting with Radio X's Phil Clifton about whether they've retained the same sound, frontman Van McCann said: "To me it is... but it's much bigger. It's like the cinema version.
"it's like watching it on your laptop and then bringing it to the cinema".
Talking about the potential pressure of a follow-up album following the huge success of their debut The Balcony LP, McCann revealed: "It's not pressure, I wouldn't say. I think it's just people with eyes on you waiting for you to perform. But we don't worry about it too much."
He added: "We have everything ready a to go a year before people ask us to come with it, so when the label send us away to write somewhere, we've already finished and just go out for a drink."
Meanwhile, Catfish are set for headline shows at Liverpool Sound City and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl where all 8,000 tickets sold in just ten minutes.
