The Dead Weather 2015

The quartet of Jack White, Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Queens Of The Stone Age Man Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs will return on 25 September with Dodge And Burn, their first new album since 2010’s Sea Of Coawards.

Speaking to us about the new album, Mosshart explained that the combination of talents produced something magical.

“I think that The Dead Weather really is a four piece band and every single person adds an element to it,” she told Sunta Templeton. “I know we bring something out of each other - it’s kind of a magic trick, I can’t really describe how it happens. I think, where does that come from? It’s like a little gift, I really can’t explain it.”

The first track, I Feel Love (Every Million Miles) is available to hear via the TIDAL streaming service, of which Jack White is a stakeholder. There’s a teaser below, however, for those who haven’t signed up yet.

I Feel Love is released on Friday 21 August but is already available as an “Instant Grat” for anyone who pre-orders the album.
