Scottish Album Of The Year 2015 Shortlist Unveiled

The 10 acts who've made the final list of nominees for Scottish Album of the Year have been announced and include Paolo Nutini, Honeyblood and Young Fathers.

We announced the longlist for the Scottish Album of the Year back in April, when 20 acts were still in contention for the sought after prize. Now that list has been whittled down to 10 performers and we've got the skinny on who's still in the running.

Young Fathers, who won the gong last year, are again on the shortlist and have described themselves as "thankful" that their album DEAD is being praised by the awards panel.

Paolo Nutini's Caustic Love, which won the popular vote for the album of the year, is another to make the shortlist. Indie veterans Belle and Sebastian are still in contention too, for their album Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance.

Honeyblood's self-titled album is another shortlisted, with Happy Meals, Errors, Kathryn Joseph, PAWS, Slam and The Amazing Snakeheads rounding out the nominees.

The winner will be announced on 17 June at a ceremony in Glasgow.
