Adele Wins Best Song Oscar

Adele has picked up Best Song at the Oscars for her theme tune to Skyfall.

It's the first time a Bond theme has won an Academy Award in almost 50 years.

Speaking backstage the singer revealed how she was going to celebrate.

"I think I might go to the Vanity Fair party because that would be quite nice... but I've got to get up at 6... and one glass of champagne and I'm gone these days."

The track missed out on number one in the charts but marked her return to recording after suffering a vocal chord haemorrhag and undergoing major surgery in 2011.

It also picked up Best Song at the Golden Globes.
