With a warm retro sound and killer look, Blossoms look set to join the growing of number of bands bringing psychedelic music bang up to date.
Hailing from Stockport, just outside Manchester, five-piece Blossoms have already released some joyously retro-sounding tracks. Led by frontman Tom Ogden, the band's being talked about as potentially the next huge band to hail from that part of the country.
2015 saw three immense singles to come from the band via James Skelly of The Coral’s Skeleton Key Records: Cut Me And I’ll Bleed, Blown Rose, and the Radio X favourite Charlemagne.
As the band themselves say: "When the man who who’s written some of the greatest guitar tunes in the last 10 years, invites you down the M62 to go to his house for tea, first you pinch yourself and then you ask, ‘do you want us to bring some dessert?’ and get down there."
Blossoms are made up of Tom on vocals and guitar, bassist Charlie Salt, guitarist Josh Dewhurst, drummer Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock on keys.
Early 2016 sees them head out on their biggest UK tour so far and a headline slot at the NME Awards show on 25 February - it's going to be a huge year for these lads.
