Beady Eye - Glastonbury 2013

Beady Eye played a "surprise" show at Glastonbury's Other Stage this morning, showcasing their new album… and a couple of Oasis classics.

Earlier on, they tweeted: "11am Friday - BE there or BE square. LG" and made an appearance on the festival's second stage, opening the day's proceedings… as predicted by Radio X's Gordon Smart.

Liam Gallagher and co's second album BE featured heavily in the set, with tracks like Flick Of The Finger and Second Bite Of The Apple, but the Oasis classics Morning Glory and Rock 'N' Roll Star were also given an airing. The latter was dedicated to Liam's sons Gene and Lennon, who were watching with the singer's wife Nicole.

All this happened, despite Liam telling Radio X's Danielle Perry two months ago: "Never, ever doing that thing ever again, because it's a nightmare." How times change!
