Down In The Tube Station is arguably one one of Weller's most accomplished songs, telling the story of a vicious mugging that takes place on the London Underground. 

The second single from All Mod Cons in 1978, it featured a cover of The Who's So Sad About Us on the B-side as a tribute to Keith Moon, who'd died a couple of months earlier.
