Eagles of Death Metal are returning with Zipper Down, their first album in seven years and have lined up a string of UK tour dates for later this year.
The last album we got from Eagles of Death Metal came in 2008 but the band is finally returning to sex up your playlists with Zipper Down. The new album will feature 11 tracks, including lead single Complexity and a cover of Duran Duran's Save A Prayer.
The duo, made up of Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme and Jesse Hughes, performed all instruments and vocals themselves on the album, with Homme producing.
Hughes says the album "represents to me an attitude and philosophy of life. One should not zipper up, they should zipper down and let it all hang out."
Homme offered his unique take on the record too: "In an independent study, four out of three doctors say ZIPPER DOWN is an eargasm trapped inside a crazerbeam. And I believe them."
The album comes out on 2 October and the band will also be playing UK tour dates in October and November.
