Former Primal Scream guitarist dies

Former Primal Scream guitarist Robert 'Throb' Young has died.

Young was part of the band from the mid-80s through to 2006.

Musicians such as Liam Gallagher and Tim Burgess have been paying tribute on Twitter.

The band have yet to officially comment, however Mani's wife Imelda tweeted - "Beyond sadness today , RIP to the one and only Throb , over to the other side brother , we'll love you forever . Melds n mani xx xx"
