Oasis 1997 Be Here Now

Paddy Power have shared their latest odds of the band getting back together and touring in the next two years.

It's one of life's biggest questions that never seems to get answered: Will will Oasis ever get back together, and if so... when?

Though Noel and Liam Gallagher have forged on with their solo careers and both scored No.1 albums this year, there's still fresh odds on the chances of the band reuniting.

Paddy Power have given odds of 8/1 on Oasis announcing a 2018 tour, 12/1 of them announcing a 2019 tour and a whopping 16/1 odds of the band playing Knebworth in 2018.

Hilariously enough, the the best odds of 6/4 were given to Liam Gallagher for tweeting that "Oasis will never get back together in 2018," which to be fair could happen at any given minute knowing his Twitter habits.

See Paddy Power's full odds for an Oasis reunion:

  • Liam to tweet that Oasis will never get back together in 2018 - 6/4

  • Oasis to announce a 2018 tour - 8/1

  • Oasis to announce an album for 2018 - 10/1

  • Oasis to announce a 2019 tour - 12/1

  • Oasis to play Knebworth in 2018 - 16/1

In fact, if Liam's recent tweets are anything to go by, we could actually be closer to a reunion than we think.

This week the Wall of Glass singer took to Twitter wish "team NG" a Happy Christmas and suggest he'd see him soon.

And when quizzed by his fans to clarify his comments, he said that Noel had "reached out" to him.

However, in a recent interview, Noel slammed his brother being awarded with NME's Godlike Genius award, comparing it to giving a medal to a substitute goalkeeper.

The former Oasis rocker has reacted to his brother being set to receive the honour and suggested he's got it for "doing f**k all".

Asked about his brother's new title, Noel told the Daily Star newspaper: "You know when a team wins the Premier League and they give the third choice goalkeeper a medal just for being there?

"It's like , you didn't do f**k all, right? But you just happened to be there in training, so have this medal. That's what it's like."

Round and round we go.

NME's Godlike Genius gong is like giving a prize to a substitute goalkeeper.

At this point it seems like theres more chance of Big Shaq and Noel sharing a stage together than Noel and Liam.
