As part of a Twitter interview the bassist answered your questions - including the 'How Does Chris Headbang Without Getting Dizzy?' from Sophie Davison.
"I think once you've started touring and your in the swing of it, your body loosens up," he answered.
"You're really excited, you haven't played for a year. Then you wake up in the morning with 'rock neck' where you can't move your head because you've just gone for it.
"Usually as you get in the swing of it, you get your touring fitness up back up to scratch it is usually okay."
However he confessed to Radio X that's not always the case and his onstage antics have led to a bit of a health problem.
"I had a few issues for a while, I had to see a physiotherapist for a bit because I was unaware of the fact that the combination of headbanging and guitar strap had actually dislocated one of my ribs on my back," he admitted.
"I didn't find out until I had a massage one day - it was a chiropractor in Belgium. She was like, 'are you aware you've got a dislocated rib?' and I was like 'I've got no idea'!"
He continued, "I had to have a lot of knots massaged out of my back and my neck form years of doing that so I don't do it as much as I did in the early days. Getting old."
