Dave Grohl Announces Foo Fighters Live Return For July 4th

It's just a few weeks since Dave Grohl announced his broken leg meant he had to cancel live shows including Glastonbury and Wembley - and the legendary frontman is already roaring back to action.

One of the most dramatic developments of the year so far came when Dave Grohl broke his leg falling from the stage at Sweden and was forced to pull out of Glastonbury at the last minute.

At the time, the Foos frontman promised he'd be back in action as soon as possible - but we never expected it'd be this Saturday. In a Tweet through the official Food account, Grohl said:

The band added the RFK Stadium gig in Washington DC to the tour dates page on their website, as well as a host of other European and US dates for later in the year. Unfortunately there's no sign of rescheduled UK dates just yet.
