Biffy Clyro are the first headliner to be announced for Isle of Wight Festival 2014.
The Scottish trio will headline the main stage on the Friday night - June 13 - of the event in Newport.
Their appearance will be an English festival exclusive.
"We are over the moon to announce that we will headline the main stage at Isle of Wight Festival next year," Simon Neil said.
"To follow the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam is an honour. We cannot wait to get back to this iconic festival and this beautiful island."
The 1975 - who are playing Radio X WInter Wonderland Manchester today - have also been confirmed for the festival.
Early Bird tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday (December 12).
