The band have released the video to the lead single from their Wild World LP.

Bastille have unveiled the promo for their Good Grief single.

The surreal video features a decapitated frontman, a bank heist and topless models. So, a pretty run of the mill Bastille video, then.

The track is the first cut to be taken from their forthcoming Wild World LP, which follows their 2013 Bad Blood debut.

Speaking to Radio X's Phil Clifton about the new album, the band said: “The whole album plays out like a mixtape. It’s got quotes from films and old documentaries and fan footage. Sonically it’s more extreme and in a different direction.”

The band also revealed they will be debuting their live performance of the single at their Glastonbury Festival slot on the Other Stage this Friday (24 June).

“At Glastonbury we’re going to play Good Grief for the first time just because it sounds cool to have done that," said frontman Dan Smith.

"We’ve been drip feeding bits of this new record out there by playing stuff at festivals and seeing if we’re going to have poo hurled at us and if we’re going to be booed off stage. Luckily that hasn’t happened.”
