Arctic Monkeys cancel Glasgow show

Arctic Monkeys 2013

The band have canceled their Glasgow show after Alex Turner is diagnosed with laryngitis.

The sold out gig has been rescheduled for November 21.

Turner was also forced to pull out of last night’s (31st) Birmingham show at the LG Arena, which has been rescheduled for 20th November.

A statement on their website read: "We wish to apologise to all ticket holders for any inconvenience this has caused. Please contact the customer services at the box office you purchased your tickets for any further assistance."

The cancelation has caused some stirs after the Sheffield lads were seen out partying after the Barclaycard Mercury Prize ceremony on wednesday night.

The band were nominated for their album AM, but lost out to James Blake’s Overgrown.
